Join us as we team up with The South Coast LGBTQ+ Network to kick off Pride South Coast in Taunton! Services will be co-led by Reb Josh and Rabbi Leah Nussbaum. Rabbi Nussbaum will speak about their experience as a queer, non-binary Jew, in a talk titled “Beyond the Binary: Queer Torah and the Sacred Self.”
The service will followed by a kiddush of challah and desserts.

Meet Rabbi Leah Nussbaum, a staff chaplain at Hebrew Senior Life in Roslindale, where they provide spiritual care, and lead Jewish programming, musical Shabbat services, and holidays. Rabbi Leah was ordained by Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York, May 2022. They are passionate about making spaces that are inclusive, accessible, and welcoming for all people of all ages, backgrounds and identities.
Rabbi Leah lives in Medord with their spouse, Rabbi Jessica Dell’Era, their child Orly, and their dog Raizy. They enjoy exploring nature, board games, rock climbing and being in community.
