General Directions to Taunton / Synagogue / Jewish Community House

From Logan Airport and Downtown Boston:

1. Take I-93 South( Southeast Expressway) to Route 128 North/I-93 South combo, 3 miles to Exit 4 (Route. 24).
2. Take Route. 24 South 20 miles to Exit 13B ( Route 44/Cape Highway).
   Route 44, make right and follow Route. 44 West 3 miles into Taunton Center. Route. 44 becomes Main Street. and runs right into the
3. Taunton Green.
4. In Taunton Center, proceed around Taunton Green, and continue west on Route 44, also called Winthrop Street
5. Synagogue is 1/2 block further on the left, across from Sam’s Gas station and the Baptist church
6. Jewish Community House is 1/2 block past synagogue. Make a left at the light (High Street / Bank of America). Third building on the right.

From Boston’s North Shore and Points Further Northeast:

1. Take I-95 South to Route 128 South to Exit 4 (Route 24).
2. Take Route 24 South 20 miles to Exit 13B ( Route 44/Cape Highway).
3. Follow directions for Boston above from Route 44

From Central and Western Massachusetts:

1. Take Mass Pike (I-90) to Exit 11A (I-495).
2. Take I-495 South to Exit 8 ( Route 138).
3. Take Route 138 South into Taunton Center
4. Follow directions from Boston above from Taunton Center.

From Cape Cod:

1. Take Bourne Bridge to Route 25 North to I-495 North.
2. Take I-495 North 16 miles to Exit 6 ( Route 44).
3. Take Route 44 West 4 miles to Route 24. Continue on Route 44 west for 3 miles to Taunton Center.
4. Follow the directions for Boston above from Taunton Center.

From Fall River:

1. Take Route 24 North 14 miles to Exit 12B ( Route 140).
2. Make left and follow Route 140 North 3.5 miles into Taunton Center.
3. Follow the directions for Boston above from Taunton Center

From New Bedford:

1. Take Route 140 North 22 miles into Taunton Center
2. Follow the directions for Boston above from Taunton Center

From Providence and Further South in Connecticut and New York City:

1. Take I-95 (either North or South, depending on your location) to I-195 East in Downtown Providence
2. Continue briefly on I-195 East to Exit 4 (Route 44 East)
3. Follow Route 44 East signs carefully through East Providence into Seekonk, MA
4. Route 44 East 15 miles from Seekonk into Taunton. Route 44 becomes Winthrop Street in Taunton
5. At the stoplight at High Street (Bank of America on right side across the intersection) continue 1/2 block further to the Synagogue, on the right, across from Sam’s Gas station and the Baptist church
6. OR, At the stoplight at High Street (Bank of America on right side across the intersection). make a right turn to the Jewish Community House. Third bulding on the right.
