Whether you are a complete beginner or just want to brush up on the basics, this class will review the letters and vowels and provide an environment for practice and drill using the text of common prayers.
The textbook we’ll be using — Shalom Aleichem, by Noah Golinkin has been out of print for many years, but it remains the best book out there for adult learners to master the basics. There are still a few used copies available here and there, and there’s a pdf you can borrow for free online.
